TCD was engaged by Fortescue to deliver the construction of a communications pad at the Eliwana mine site. The project required mobilisation and haulage of material to a challenging elevated location.
Key Deliverables:
- Clearing of vegetation and foundation compaction to establish a stable platform
- Significant levelling works across the main pad and access track, addressing complex natural topography
- Placement and compaction of approximately 8,000 m³ of material for pad and access road
- Safe haulage of material through the active Eliwana mine with traffic management and coordination with FMG operations
- Construction of rock chutes for effective drainage during heavy rainfall events
Delivered on time, safely, and to a high standard of quality despite challenging terrain and logistical demands.
