We delivered civil and earthworks packages for the Iron Bridge tailings pipeline, focusing on the construction of Scour Ponds 4 and 5. The scope involved significant earthmoving to shape the pond embankments and the installation of drainage infrastructure to manage water flow across the site. This work supported the broader operational requirements of the magnetite ore processing facilities in the Pilbara. Our team executed the works through a combination of bulk earthworks and precise pipeline installation. We excavated the pond basins and prepared the foundations, installing geotextile filters and placing facing-class rock for erosion protection. For the drainage structures, we installed a series of corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culverts. This involved trench excavation, setting up fill saddles, and laying the pipe barrels. We encased the pipes in flowable backfill to ensure stability and constructed headwalls with rock aprons to protect the embankments from scour.
