We constructed a water storage facility at the Bigge mining area in the Pilbara to support dust suppression operations. The project involved significant earthworks, including the construction of an earthen storage basin, access tracks, and equipment pads. We also installed the necessary concrete foundations, HDPE pipeline network, and mechanical and electrical components to enable water delivery via standpipes and pump skids. Our team managed the full scope from initial clearing and earthmoving through to final commissioning. We executed cut and fill operations to shape the storage basin and compacted the foundation areas for the pump skids and standpipes. The works included pouring concrete plinths, laying and welding HDPE pipelines, and installing valves and mechanical fittings. We also completed the installation of electrical cabling, panels, and generators, and finished the basin with HDPE liner installation, fencing, and safety signage.
