We completed civil earthworks for the Southern LV Ring Road at Cloudbreak Mine in the Pilbara. The project involved preparing a 10-metre-wide low-volume road network across West, Mid, and East areas, requiring significant ground preparation to establish stable haulage routes for mining operations. Our team executed clearing and topsoil removal across the designated alignments, followed by the placement of 300mm of sheeting material. We utilised existing onsite plant supplemented by a D8 dozer and articulated dump trucks to manage haulage within a 2km lead. The approach included precise mark-out of clearing extents, efficient vegetation removal to stockpiles, and grading of sheeting materials to achieve required road profiles. Final works involved trimming batters, tidying shoulders, and removing excess rock to ensure the road network was ready for operational use.
