We constructed a dedicated water supply system to support dust suppression operations in the Hall, Cue, and Bull mining areas. The project centred on the creation of an earthen Turkey's Nest with a usable volume of approximately 3.9 ML, designed to service both light and heavy vehicle water carts. The site required significant earthworks to establish the pond structure, access tracks, and equipment pads, alongside the installation of a comprehensive pipeline network to connect the storage facility to the bulk main supply. Our team managed the full scope from initial clearing and topsoiling through to final commissioning. We excavated and compacted the earthen basin, installing a HDPE liner and geotextile underlay to ensure water retention. The works included the installation of a high-density polyethylene supply pipeline, two standpipes with associated pump skids, and electrical infrastructure for automated control. We also constructed spillway capture bunds and rip rap protection to manage overflow and erosion, ensuring the facility was ready for operational handover.
