We delivered dewatering infrastructure for FMG at the Trinity 09-02 pit in the Pilbara, supporting operations near the future Kings VOK50_01 pit edge. The project involved installing five abstraction bore pumps to advance dewatering prior to mining and assist with continued pit dewatering. Our scope covered the full installation of mechanical, electrical, and civil components required to establish a functional dewatering system in this remote mining environment. Our team executed extensive earthworks, including clearing approximately 1.9 hectares, constructing bunds, and building over 700 metres of sheeted access tracks and bore pads. We installed HDPE pipelines, comprising multiple sections of varying diameters, along with buried pipe crossings for low and high voltage lines. The mechanical scope included setting submersible pump sets, PermaGlass columns, and VSD panel skids at each bore site. We also established three generator sites with fuel pods and cabling. The works concluded with flushing, hydrostatic testing, commissioning, and handover of the pipe infrastructure and pump systems.
