We completed the civil construction and landscaping for Stage 2 of the Batavia Coast Marina development in Geraldton, Western Australia. The project involved the creation of new subdivisional roads, specifically Monument Promenade and Chambers Way, along with tie-ins to existing streets including Bayly Street, Foreshore Drive, and Forrest Street. Our scope covered the earthworks and infrastructure required to support commercial lots and sixteen new residential buildings along the northern end of the promenade. Our team managed the full suite of civil works, starting with site clearance, vegetation removal, and topsoil stripping. We executed extensive earthworks, including the placement and compaction of imported fill to achieve required levels. The construction of the road network involved laying reinforced concrete pipe drainage, water reticulation, and underground power and telecommunications services. We constructed the road pavements with asphalt and clay paver surfaces, installed reinforced kerbing, and completed the streetscaping. This included planting native species, installing irrigation systems, and placing street furniture such as bollards, seats, and bicycle racks.
