Bulk Earthworks for the Solomon Airport Solar Hub
Fortescue's Solomon Airport Solar Hub is planned for up to 440 MWp of solar with battery storage, and we're building the ground it stands on. Across eleven separable portions our own crews clear, strip, grade and compact the array footprints, then build the access tracks, battery and power conversion pads, precast box culverts and laydowns. Before that, we delivered the earthworks and civils for the 350-person construction camp: the pad, drainage, roads and carparks.
