TCD was engaged to complete the bulk earthworks for the Cloudbreak Solar project, supporting the development of 197 MWdc of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation and large-scale battery storage.
Key Deliverables:
- 350 hectares of clearing and grubbing
- 125 hectares of final trimming works
- Installation of 32 cable culverts
- 25 kilometres of access tracks
- 30,000 m³ of cut/fill
- 13 kilometres of fencing
TCD actively coordinated with Fortescue to deliver the project on time, incorporating significant scope variations while managing interfaces with other contractors to ensure no delays onsite.
